“We sometimes think that being grateful is what we do after our problems are solved, but how terribly shortsighted that is. How much of life do we miss by waiting to see the rainbow before thanking God that there is rain?” -Dieter F. Uchtodorf
I’m grateful for the storms of life that help me to recognize the rainbows. Grateful for this pandemic, it gave me the month of April— my favorite people stuck under a roof, despite a rainstorm of unmet expectations.

- “Same for me. The extra family time was such a blessing. We camped, hiked and rode 4-wheelers. All things we do, but never that early in the year. Plus all the extra family game time. It was awesome!”
- “It has humbled me. My prayers have been more fervent”
- “I love this. Was just reading a talk by him and was touched with the idea that “gratitude transcends whatever is happening around us. It surpasses disappointment, discouragement, and despair. It blooms just as beautifully in the icy landscape of winter as it does in the pleasant warmth of summer.
When we are grateful to God in our circumstances, we can experience gentle peace in the midst of tribulation.” ❤️❤️” - “I think this pandemic with all its terrible consequences is also a blessing in disguise as evidenced in quality family time, rethinking life direction, I.e., patience, gratitude, faith, hope, and charity. I am grateful for the many new opportunities presented to us . #givethanks“
